Take me away!!!

This is what winter looks like at our place. (taken last year) That is my "back door" and my kitchen window at the top of the steps. If you stood on the steps and turned around, you would see the other picture.

This is what I imagine the middle of Jiwi Island to be like. (taken last summer in Mattawamkeag, where we camp)

Need My Shades!

Sure wish I could be basking on a sunny beach today! I about froze my fingers, filling the birdfeeders this morning. The sun is shining, but the wind is whipping through the trees. My blanket(that Abel took camping and smelled like woodsmoke) was pulled from the clothesline. It smells like the outdoors!

(ahhh...didn't work! I found a smilie with shades!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Stop by, rest awhile. Get charged up for this New Year.
God willing, all 9 of us will be together at one time,
in one place, THIS YEAR.

From The Criminal of the Group

So, here's what kind of trouble my husband gets me into!  Awhile back, I was following him in my Expedition (behind the motorcycle). He was going to get his bald tires replaced and his inspection sticker updated. I was afraid to let him get too far ahead, so I stayed close behind.

In typical Brian fashion, he accelerated too fast at the green light. HOWEVER, I am the one who got pulled over. Yup, I looked down when I saw the cop, and I was going 55 in a 40 mile per hour zone.  FIFTY-FIVE!!!!!

I guess I should be thankful that Brian didn't get pulled over, seeing as he would've also gotten a ticket for his bald tires AND his inspection sticker, but nonetheless, I am the criminal.

And as if I didn't learn my lesson, I waited until the last possible minute to take my online defensive driving course. If it doesn't get to the court in time, guess what?  Not good.

I managed to finish up the test this morning at 2:30 am. But hey, I got a 100 on the test, so at least I went to bed with an "A" on my driving report card.  Now...praying it gets shipped to me in time to get it to the court...

Yikes!  How do you guys put up with a mess like me!????!!!

I need Jiwi, as long as there's not a prison there...or laws...gerph.
